How old was Jesus
at his Birth?
At the Crucifixion
shining all his worth?
Or Resurrected –
God connected?

Who can say
how old they are?
Even in the Elysian fields
virtues’ flowers to withering yields.
Thousands of years on,
Death still follows what’s born.

Gods and ghosts,
Denizens and animal hosts,
Humans who on Earth do dwell,
all still imprisoned in a karmic shell.
Until the shell is broken,
viewpoints now unspoken –
Deathlessness will pass one by…

Because the Path one didn’t really try,
being content to say:
“I was twenty-five yesterday.
And, yes, Jesus was newly born
and died at thirty-three.
The Resurrection?
A mystery…”
